We have designed containers for water analysis for various power plants of a renowned energy producer worldwide. In close cooperation with the company, we developed a standard model for the laboratory and warehouse. The laboratory has a fume cupboard, a weighing table and a ceramic sink, providing sufficient workspace for several employees. The storage container ensures safe storage of laboratory materials and chemicals.
For a German biotechnology company founded in 2016, we planned and delivered a turnkey container facility between January 2022 and March 2023. For the production of the product portfolio (including DNA extraction kits), the customer wanted laboratory space with different requirements. The production facility was built on 2 floors in modular construction. The basement houses the incoming goods area and 2 large laboratory rooms, which are equipped with a sink, a large osmosis system with water storage tanks, a convection oven and sufficient work space, among other things. There is also plenty of storage capacity on the first floor in the form of heavy-duty shelving. The first floor also has documentation workstations and an office with 2 workstations. The production area extends over 2 spacious laboratory rooms which are equipped with a fume cupboard, a sink, an FWF90 cabinet, a chemical cabinet, various refrigerators and freezers as well as plenty of work space. A special feature of the upper floor is a double door through which the finished pallets can be transported with a forklift. Both floors are connected by a staircase.
For this project, bespoke base units with doors and drawers were installed to provide a stylish and functional storage solution. To complement this, wall units were installed to provide additional storage space. A bespoke desk with a mobile pedestal was also custom made. The high-quality Trespa surface not only ensures an appealing aesthetic, but also durability and functionality. Media columns with appropriate equipment were also integrated. Two fume cupboards, each 1500 mm wide, were also installed.
For a renowned manufacturer of reagents and systems for clinical laboratories, we planned and delivered a turnkey S2 container facility between October 2021 and February 2023. The customer wanted a laboratory room with movable laboratory tables as well as laboratory work lines with sinks and a fume cupboard. He also needed a laboratory room that met the S2 guidelines and was only accessible via an airlock. So that the employees do not always have to leave the container facility for documentation and lunch breaks, he wanted to have writing workstations and a lounge on the opposite side. We implemented this for him in 9 containers measuring 3 x 8 m and 3 x 6 m. This gave him a total area of 175 m² in the container facility.
We received a request from a waste disposal company in our region to set up a laboratory in a container facility. The customer wanted a large work surface with a sink. He also needed a small fume cupboard and a chemical disposal system. We implemented this by equipping the 12 m² laboratory room (6 x 6 m) with base cabinets and wall cabinets as well as a sink. We also installed a chemical disposal system and a table fume cupboard from a well-known manufacturer. The complete container system measures 36 m² (6 x 9 m) and is spread over two floors.
A laboratory container for installation in a production hall was planned and implemented in 2021 for a company from the packaging industry based in Weißenthurm. The customer wanted laboratory space with different requirements. Access to the laboratory was to be via an anteroom in which 2 workstations were set up. In the laboratory room, a central island with workstations and sink, 2 wall-mounted work tables with base cabinets, a fume cupboard and a chemical cabinet were installed. The laboratory container with the dimensions 8m x 5.2m and an interior height of 2.50m consists of 2 modules and a total area of approx. 42sqm was created.
